  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As of now, i'm at a Community College in a nearby city in my state. However, considering my chosen major- Clinical Psychology I have decided it would be best pursued out west, where the life is more lenient and is an overall relaxed atmosphere~

I have been looking at Colorado- especially Colorado College and was wondering if anyone in the area knew other great schools as well. Colorado is a major choice as the lifestyle of a snowboarder and such is the life I enjoy, being able to just veg out and snowboard, while pursuing a career that I know I would do well in- considering i've been studying it long before college for 5+ years on my own.

Another area I was looking at was the Lake Tahoe area-yet i'm having a more difficult time finding a place there? Are there any suggestions there?

I don't know how it is in Colorado, but I can tell you that the Lake Tahoe area can get really really expensive plus the out-of-state tuition is high (compared to what California residents pay). I think NorCal is, overall, more expensive than SoCal. Are there any others areas you've been looking into in California?
