Howdy, (or should I say "sup" since I'm from Michigan)
My name is Chris Shovan. I am from the Detroit area. (The Detroit AREA...not the city itself.) I have been browsing around on the forums for a little while and am finally formally introducing myself.
I am currently going to a private college working toward a degree in web design although I occasionally ponder whether the Lord will call me into some kind of full time ministry.
I am single and am looking forward to the day when God will grant me the woman that He has for me. One that will love God more than anything, be merciful toward my weaknesses yet will not back down when I am in the wrong.
I feel I am stuck in Romans chapter 7. I so want to live for the Lord yet "in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing" (Romans 7:18) Anybody else feel this way? It's crazy! May the Lord grant us all the grace to disciple ourselves and strive after Him!
I think that's enough about me for now. Be blessed fellow believers! Walk in a way that is worthy of the calling in which you were called.
"Do not labor for the food which perishes, but the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." -- John 6:27
