I'd rather have fewer characters with more development than a bunch of characters that make no sense.

I rushed out and bought FFX as soon as it came out, I'll admit it. And I wasn't disappointed. The graphics are amazing, and the skill system is different but allows for lots of customization.
Yes, it was easy, but I have yet to play a final fantasy game that wasn't. The end boss of Final Fantasy 8 could be the hardest one in the entire series, but even then it was too easy. Although I'm always the guy who spends a few extra hours leveling up my characters, so perhaps I make things too easy for myself.

Yeah, of course!

I beat Omega Weapon in Final Fantasy 8 in less than 15 minutes once, with a minimum of heals.
The reason? I had 20 "Holy War" invincibility items, LOL. That was waaaay too easy hehe -^.^-

Yeah, I heard FFX was not the best. I think I will rent rather than buy. One disappointment of mine is that I heard they switched to voice actors rather than the classic text boxes. Sort of like dubbing instead of subtitles.
I'm a relic I guess, LOL. Give me my text boxes and subtitles any day over bad dubbing and worse voice actors, hehe. -^.^-
