Final Fantasy 12

Post here for everything Final Fantasy 12 related! From what I've read so far it seems like it's going to be a pretty good game! (it can't be any worse then ff: X2)

Supposedly airships are going to play a large part in this game. They've only released the pics of 4 or 5 characters so far, but their are some pretty hot chicks in this game! And so you don't start think "oh no not another chick game" the main character's a guy so at least their will be some testosterone in the game! Pretty soon their gunna release the pic of a secret character???

yeah, I saw I think 1 or 2 pics of the game, and from what I can see it looks really cool. Is there any idea as to when this game will come out? Or are we in the dark for now?

Only thing I know so far is that it's coming out sometime in 2005 during the winter.

Finally there stopping the Random Battles, and using a real time battle system.

I may actually enjoy playing this one.

I'm pretty excited about this one. It seems like it's gonna be pretty different from the others, but it might be good.. or it might suck. We shall see. As annoying as the random battles were, I might just miss them. Just a few random thoughts.

I like the fact that the maker of FF Tactics and Vagrant Story will be running things this time around. Their graphics style, music and stories IMO are some of the best in the industry.

Yeah i personally hated ffx and ffx2 and ff11. Although ff11 did allow alot more of a flexible storyline, but i hated the fact that it was all online! I give that game a rate of a 6 or 7 and i give ffx a rate of like 5 and ffx2 a rate of like maybe .5....nah .2! They should have fired the people that came up with ffx and ffx2, infact i think they did! As the random battles go, i actually enjoy them I mean with most real time battle games you see an enemy like every mile and half of walking around and you like hit them once and their dead. I've never played a real-time fighting game of any kind where i actually felt challenged at all! With the random battles at least you have to think a little bit. And even though ffx2 was the worst game ever, i did enjoy the dress-spheres and the amount of different abilities you could learn. I don't know how, but i hope that the makers of ff12 actually make the battle system somewhat random. Of course what does that really mean....hmmmmm....

I'm a daily player of ff11, I have over 600 hours logged so far..amazing game..and they seem to be taking after ff11's combat sytem to some degree in ff12 and it's taking place in Ivalice (FF Tactics) The targeting system looks a little confusing though.

I don't really want to get off topic here, but how is FF11 anyway? The only reason I can't get it is because I don't feel like paying monthly for a game. Is it worth the money?

Oh definetly...it's all I play! Seriously this game requires a lot of time..pretty much most to all of your gaming time..so yea i'm paying $13 a month to play..but in the process i'm not buying other games that are $50 a piece..so i'm actually saving money.

hmm...well that does make a lot of sense. Well once Star Wars Battlefront comes out and I get done playing online with that (might take a while

) then I'll go check it out.
