A soldier glanced out his lookout tower. The odd group of travellers were still on the beach. They hadn't tried to breach the beach wall, they just sat huddled in prayer sometimes. Curiosity overwhelmed him. His shift was nearly finished. He'd go down and speak to them and send them on their way. Now had they tried to gain entrance or look as if they were helping natives/fugitives escape he would have shot them on the spot....

Doctor Sphinx walked up to the soldier. 'Hello friend,' he introduced himself.

The soldier, aiming his rifle, shouted out in North Korean 'Who goes there?'

Fortunately, the doctor was well versed in over 6 million forms of communication.

'You don't need to see our identification,' the doctor replied, in a thick North Korean accent.

'We don't need to see your identification?' the soldier replied puzzled, wondering if he should just kill this strange character.

'We may go about our business?' the doctor intoned.

'You may go about your business?' the soldier asked, puzzled. Perhaps this was one of those Jews, he thought. They were always asking questions, and had large noses with which to pry into the affairs of others.

'We may move along?' asked the doctor.

'Or possibly Egyptian,' thought the soldier... judging by the strange hair-style.

The doctor hoped that the others had the foresight to make good their escape whilst he distracted the soldier.

Then, suddenly, Kim Jong Un turned the corner! His hair, black and rigid. His plump belly held in by his tight fitting jacket.
"Stop!" He shouted..

She then aimed at the despotic dictator.

@Lost4words was true to his name and simply stared.

@LaSorcia released @ebony to aid the good doctor and sent undercover agent @GreenWizard off to surreptitiously look for Sphinxy. She knew of GW's secret status as an expert in rescue operations and his previous experience for the Open Doors Mission. She respected and admired their work, never ceasing to pray for them.

Kim, walking slowly in his high heels, smiled, as he unfolded a picture of Trump as he set it alight with a match that he had just lit by striking it on the head of one of his soldier.

The doctor thanked Kim Jong Un, and used the burning photograph of his favourite president to light his cigar. Although he didn't normally smoke - indeed - the only time he'd previously smoked was when he was on fire - he believed this was a special occasion.

Meanwhile...@DavidFirth bit his tongue. He knew the doctor would have called Sam91 a superheroine in this situation, but fortunately, the doctor wasn't here, and he most certainly wasn't going to lose a member of his crew to her hideyhole by careless talk.

Instead, he stated, 'I thank God that he has blessed our crew with such a valuable crew member,' without being more specific.

She wondered what new skills she would need to learn, via google and wikipedia of course, to fit in (compete) with the new person.

Doctor Sphinx was getting a little bored talking with Kim. He sighed internally, as his lungs were quickly blackening from all the cigar smoke he was inhaling. Kim seemed to be impressed that he didn't cough.

The doctor wondered if he and Kim would have got on better if he'd kept his ego. He was fairly sure that his Grandly-Inflated-Ego and Kim were puffed up with smoke from the same cigar...

But actually, it wasn't the wig moving, it was the effects of the cigar smoke. Doctor Sphinx, normally the one to put others to sleep, this time had to stifle a yawn himself, with Kim Jong Un's constant talk about himself, and his meeting with the US president with the funny hair. Meanwhile...

A raven came tap-tapping at Sam91's chamber door... But only this and nothing more... Well, a little more. The raven's name was Ebony, and she let out a warning.

Sam shoed the raven away, before realising it might have been a secret code from the doctor. Unfortunately, if it was a code, no-one would be able to translate it. At least, no one with non-super-powers.

Sam91 looked to the newcomer hopefully, but then thought to herself 'Hmmmm.... I wonder about CtC...'

@Doctor.Sphinx missed @Sam91's collection of yarmulkes. He needed the yarmulke-of-?????... the diplomacy one. His brain was addled by the nicotine and other deadly toxins. If he was caught wearing a yarmulke he probably would have been shot already.

'So Kimmie, have you heard the good news...' he began, hoping to die a martyr but stopped short seeing the eyes of @GreenWizard with his nose pressed up against the glass, pulling rather a funny face...

'The @GreenWizard!', the doctor began to think excitedly, but then held his fingers to his nose. 'Phew, what a smell', he thought. Then he realised he was being nasty again. He sighed. If it was only pride he had to overcome, he might have a chance, but with everything else, it was just impossible.

He remembered the verse from Jeremiah 17:9 - English Standard Version naturally, as that's what the superheroines favour... well, allegedly favour. He'd read it in a comic once, he was sure. 'The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?'

He hoped that Kim Jong Un didn't have a nose, but after looking to make sure, realised that he did. So instead he hoped that although Kim Jong Un did have a nose, it was there purely for decorative reasons, and the nicotine had totally paralysed any sense of smell it once had...

@ebony persisted until @Sam 91 read the note. She set fire to it immediately because that is what one does with notes written in code. She thought to herself that Trump had more in common with Kim than not, and wouldn't be contacting him under any circumstance.

Furthermore, the good doctor had survived for millenia. If he perished that would be fine, she just wouldn't be able to procure his carcass for her museum.

It was this disappointment that moved her into action. 'Off to South Korea guys!' She commanded....

The journey was surprisingly short. At least, for those with little knowledge of geography.

Meanwhile... Doctor Sphinx got used to his life of servitude in Kim Jong Un's palace. It actually wasn't so bad. He cooked ribs for Kim every morning like he had started to for the CF crew, only Kim seemed to appreciate them more. Sure, Kim was a little paranoid, but who isn't in this day and age? Kim got used to the doctor wearing several of the yarmulke's he'd stolen from Sam91, and even let the doctor borrow some of his ego on occassion.

When Ebony returned to let Doctor Sphinx know that Sam91 no longer wanted his corpse for her museum, he let out a sigh of relief, although he was somewhat disappointed, both that his corpse was no longer wanted, and that Sam91 had burned the note he'd hoped she'd convey to his favourite US president with the funny hair.

The ship arrived a short time later.
@Sam91 donned her hitherto unheard of and unused top-secret-yarmulke-of-invisibility.

She scaled, expertly over the border wearing the good doctor's yarmulke-of-dexterity-for-the-sinistra under the top-secret-yarmulke-of-invisibility. She made her way to the lair unseen.

A 'breeze' turned the handle and opened the door to the lair. @Doctor.Sphinx was unconcious and the bad kimmie was still rambling..

'Psst shinxy..' whispered a familiar voice, 'drink this draught.. to all intents and purposes you will seem dead. I can remove a dead body easier than an alive one' he heard in his ear. If is wasn't for the realisation that he had also felt the whisper, and the weight of a vial being dropped in his pocket he would have assumed that he was going mad from kimmie's incessant droning...

At first, he suspected the Green Leprechaun was playing a prank, but there was no smell. Or, if there was, it was a pleasant smell rather than a bad one. Then a familiar voice said 'Hurry up Sphinxy and drink the draught already!'

'I don't want to drink that draught... Ebony told me she wasn't interested in my for carcass,' the doctor thought to himself. The doctor pretended to be asleep.

'Ouch!' Doctor Sphinx let out a shout of pain, as something sharp pierced into him - not very far, but deep enough to make him pay attention. 'Drink the draught,' the voice repeated fiercely.

'For someone who isn't a superheroine, she sure is rough', thought Doctor Sphinx, as he obedienty drank what he was told to drink.

'If I errr... succomb, please set me up in your museum so as not to make the tourists mock', asked the Doctor.

Sam91, though invisible, was taken aback in surprise. 'Doctor, is that a little pride I detect in you?' she asked.

'I do apologise', confessed the doctor. 'I might have borrowed some from Kim Jong Un...' before he lapsed into unconsciousness.
