The JOY of the Lord was certainly with us as we walked the Halls of
Congress praying for the Congressmen and the Staff. Real unity came down
over all of our Directors, just like a warm blanket from heaven. I have
never felt such unity before. We were extremely impressed by the messages
of the Congressmen and FBI Chaplain. What a great feeling of accomplishment
as we had spiritual impact on the Leaders of our nation. I felt like it was
just what we businessmen should be doing.
Jim Priddy - USA Vice President-Maryland
My phone has been ringing off the hook. And my email box is jammed. The
word is out, everyone is planning on coming next year. Truly the love of
God went forth like a great Love Link from us to people all over the
capitol. I felt by touching the Leadership in our Capitol, we are touching
the nation. The Board Meeting was an exercise of Love and Unity. Unity of
faith - Unity of purpose - No other agenda. Everyone showing Love for each
other. One man from Baltimore said I have not felt the Holy Spirit like
that for years.
Nathan Wilson - Legislative Consultant
I was totally blessed. 15 Staff came for Jerry DeFlorio and I to pray. It
is a real blessing to the Lord - to call in His glory upon the nation. It
meant a lot to the Christians who work there on Capitol Hill.It just
strengthened God in them. I felt like we were rising up and doing battle.
Jerry DeFlorio - Connecticut
Totally blessed. I was totally blessed. God is increasing our strength. We
have just started 4 new chapters in Connecticut.
Joe Bartlett - Kansas
There were a lot more Believers in Washington D.C. than I ever dreamed. Now
we have to pray for them that God will raise them up into positions of
leadership. They got a new realization that there are many Christians
praying for them. This was the most harmonious I have seen since I have
been in the Fellowship. Everyone was on the same page. We never had a
Directors meeting like that. It was a blessed time.Everyone is invited to

Eugene Arnold - Pennsylvania
A fantastic move of God. Tremendous unity among the Directors and their
wives. They were all ministering to each other. This Conference brought a
real peace upon me. A real peace about the Fellowship, where we are going,
and that all of us are in the same direction together. We prayed for Barney
Frank s office. The State Department office asked us for continual prayer.
They said we need prayer and our country needs it. By the way, we have a
new chapter in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Jimmy Rogers - Georgia
There was not any hindrance to the free flow of the Holy Spirit.It was not
worked up. It just began to fall upon the people. Margaret and I were
greatly blessed. I believe the vision is re-kindled as we take this golden
opportunity to reach people in the government. I was amazed at the security
measures. It really affected me to realize we are living in such grave
times. One of the congressmen was not in, they called him at his home, we
prayed for him and he told us how much he appreciated that prayer.
Leonard Riebold - Missouri
This was a very good pilot program.
Businessmen called to the Capitol. A great beginning. We lifted up Jesus in
the Halls of Congress and we saw Him draw all men to Him. A real feeling of
the Fellowship gaining ground. After I prayed for a young lady, she gave me
her card and I realized that she was on the White House Staff. We are on
the threshold of a new dimension, celebrating greater purpose together.
Gilbert Markarian - Texas
There were so many new dimensions this weekend. To hear Congressmen sharing
their hearts on a personal interactive basis is very rare. Mary Ann had
wrote a brand new song for FGBMFI and this weekend - We are champions of
the faith - we have to persevere - we have to take action. It was just
fantastic. It showed me we really do have an opportunity to have a voice.
George Duggan - South Carolina
This was the greatest Directors meeting and I have been in them all since
1976. It was the sweetest meeting - A tremendous blessing of unity -
nothing in between. By far, one of the best Regional Conference ever. By
taking time to relax and do things together, there was a greater
comradeship than ever before. I was really surprise that there were so many
more Christians than I thought on Capitol Hill. They were very receptive as
we prayed for them.
Roy Brian - Texas
Walking the Halls of Congress, praying for leaders is an incredible
experience. Personally, I felt an incredibly sense of unity among the
Directors, we can go back home in great harmony. Texas will have a lot more
people there next year. What an opportunity to go into the Halls of
Congress and pray with Leaders.
Joe Ortega - Texas
An awesome experience to pray for Congressmen in the Capitol.The messages
stirred up the new fire and what an anointing. Rosa and I went to Delaware
following the meeting and the anointing was still upon us. This anointing
broke the chain of bondage over a big family. A family that has grocery
stores and restaurants and with this anointing, they all came to Christ the
next few days.
