  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

hey there... i have been on cf for about... coming up to a year soon, and i want to let you know, i have been giving anon stuff for a long time... but today, i got on, and someone thoroughly equipped me...

lol!! so if it came from anyone in this thread, thank you!! it was totally encouraging!!

i now have the "helmet" the "sword" the "breastplate" the "shield" & the... i can't remember, but i got 5 things...

it reminded me of the scripture that ends w/ "...so that the man of God may be equipped for every good work..."

thank you!! i took them to the doc today, and he saw negative for strep on the test, but he disagrees.. cuz he asked the children directly and they gave him their symptoms... so it's either mononucleosis, or strep...PLEASE PRAY THAT IT IS STREP! whatever God decides it to be, i am in a much much much better mood than when i left out the door this morning... again, thanks to the anon...
