Nathan had a biopsy done on Tuesday in his stomach. I couldn't make it up there with him, I had pt. His Daddy says that the doctor didn't see anything but they are still waiting for the results. I believe that there is nothing wrong with the baby except he isn't getting enough nutrients for his body. Simple to fix...feed him veggies!

Think about what you'd like to be when you grow up. What is that? Now pursue it, you can do it, I believe in you.

You've been right so far, why don't they listen to you? Seriously . . .

Veggies can be fun, especially if it's veggies he likes.

That's the thing, I thought I was. You know that old saying, 'watch what you wish for, you just might get it?' Yeah.

Actually, I'm looking into a few things and I'll see what shakes out.

Sounds like you do a fair bit already. Have you thought of publishing a cook book? Your meals sound good. (even if I don't eat meat/cheese)

I've got something, hopefully, in the works myself. I cook soups for my friends church's soup kitchen. Kristin took some to work the other day, she's a waitress, and her boss liked it...a lot. Maybe I'll get my foot in the door cooking soup for that restaurant. She says they only serve chili (with sugar in it ) and vegetable beef. That way I could work a couple days a week and still be a beach bum

I'm doing well, but will be better.

The pastor came and talked to me before the service today. Apparently I was wearing an angry/disgusted look because he said "You haven't even heard my sermon yet, wait till you hear it then be disgusted. C'mon, give it a chance."

At least he didn't physically smack me upside the head.

And then I left after the service without talking to him. Yeah, I'm thinking an apology email is going out tonight.

I'm sorry you've been going through a bad time. There is so much I want to say to comfort you but the words just aren't right. Know that I'm praying. If you need to talk, you know where I am. Ok, so I know you won't show up at the door.

Well, I at least know the approximate area you live in, so it's possible that I might drop in unannounced. Well, okay, not likely, but possible . . .

As for the rest, thank you, I appreciate it. Everything is of my own doing, and I'll get over it. Many people here are far worse off than I, so I'm counting my blessings.

What's on your agenda for Monday? Are you working, have PT or do you have the day off?

I quit ACE last week, or the week before. Anyway...I'm living the life if leisure, for now. Today is wash day and prep day for making soup tomorrow. I also have pt but after today only 2 more days of it.

I feel I'm buring sunshine today as I'd rather be at the beach Yesterday was there and there were a lot of biting flies. We get that here if we have a westerly wind. So not a great day to be at the beach.

Those biting flies are nasty arent they..One day last summer I was fishing a trout stream and man it was like every 2 minutes I was getting bit..I was even using off biting fly repellent..

They are horrible. I had bug spray too. Even sprayed the dirty buggers and they kept coming back for more. I think I need heavy duty bug spray.

I've been reading a lot lately. I finished Max Lucado's 3:16. I also finished Stephen King's Duma Key. I've been reading Texas by James Michener for a while, hoping I'll get through with that soon. I'm a book freak. David says I can't buy anymore until I've finished reading what I have spoil sport
