I was talking to someone on MSN a while back and had told her about this creed to send to her sweetie while in Boot...
Took me until now to find it again...
For those Marines with kitty cat supporters...here's their "Fangs Creed"
These are my fangs. There are many like them, but these are mine. They,
together with my claws, are my nine lives. I must master them as I must
master my nine lives. Without me, my fangs and claws are useless.
Without my fangs, I and my claws are useless. Without my claws, I and my
fangs are useless. I must bite more forcefully than my enemy and my
prey. I must bite him before he bites me. I will. My fangs and I know
that what counts in hunting is not the size of the fangs, the length of
our claws, the stealth we use, or the length of our leaps. We know that
it is the bites that count. We will bite.
My fangs are feline, even as I am feline, because they are my lives.
Thus, I will learn them as a littermate. I will learn their weaknesses,
their strengths, their parts, their accessories (claws), their size, and
their points. I will keep my fangs clean and ready, even as I am clean
and ready. We will become part of each other.
Before God I swear this creed. My fangs and I are the defenders of my
yard. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my lives.
So be it, until victory is ours and there is no enemy
