Favorite video game?

My two favorite games of all time are probably Minecraft and GTA V, there is so much you can do that I have never gotten bored of them. I have played MC for over 4 years.
But I have really enjoyed Battlefield 4 and I am pretty good at it now.

So I've been told; however:

1. MGS1 didn't age very well; it sits in a transition that simply makes it unappealing. (Though I forgot to delete MGS:TS above.)
2. TESIV: Oblivion made me feel nothing.
3. Final Fantasy VII falls in my top-X list for most overrated video games ever.

I personally loved Oblivion, but I guess it all depends. Was it the story that you didn't find interesting, or the characters, etc.?

If you're into shooters, Metro 2033 Redux is pretty good.

It's just the huge variety of things you can do in the game from running the farm to wooing a partner, to finding fossils to going exploring and simple things like fishing. I think the exploring is probably my favorite thing as I love rpgs.

Breath of the Wild and Shadow of the Colossus are probably my favorite games. Although, Dead Space 3 and Dead By Daylight hold a special place in my heart. I've also heard Subnautica is really good too, albeit with a bit of a midgame grind.

My all-time favorite used to be City of Heroes. Then it shut down, which was tragic. But then the source code got accidentally released, so now the game is available again, and the company that owns the rights (NCSoft) isn't complaining about it, as long as the game isn't earning a profit. They just told the people running the game not to use exactly the same name.

But last year I found Genshin Impact, and it's become my new all-time favorite. It's a single-player RPG as big as an MMO, with more content coming out all the time, it's free to play, and it has an anime style with wonderful scenery and good-looking character models. Just perfect for me.

My favorite video game is the Sims. I like the Sims 2 and the Sims 3 on PC is the best. The console version of the Sims 1 is fun. But I've never played the Sims 4. There seems be a lot of criticism of the Sims 4.
