actually i have lots of favourites, every time i read the bible i get a new one haha. another of my favourites is 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 "But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us" and then it talks about how we are "afflicted in every way, but not crushed"

The verse afflicted in every way has a song...and I just love the song. Im not sure about the title though. it goes something like this:

I'm trading my sorrows

That's my favorite too! I read that often. My favorite verse is listed in my signature.

A verse my mom gave back when i was in school is Phillipians 4:6-7:

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

And one verse that pushed me to be who I am today and how I live my life is Galations 6:7-8:

7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Okay, I could go on forever...
