  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

what's your favorite skater and or skate team?!
me....hmmmm my favorite skater would probablly be.............:confused: hmph i dont know....i like alot........
like Tony Hawk,Bam Margera,Vannessa Torres,Tony Alva,Mike Valley,etc.
favorite sk8 teams.....

Ryan B is from Colorado Springs :) He's our home boy and trains here. Oh, the last competition that I watched Jonny Weir got cheated over Lisacek big time. I think they need to really change the point system because he was flawless and yet the short program got EL through.

Weir reminds me of my boyfriend! He's a bit eccentric and looks like that ^. I think the judges dislike Weir because he's gay,I really have to say they're biased. I also like the skater from Japan. I forget his name!

Sasha has attitude. It's a shame though,judges are looking at someones personal life when they judge them as Jonny gets cut every time.

I talked with some parents that met Sasha,she was rude. sad isn't it?

Ceili,the Ice Skating A. has the point system to reflect when a short program is not flawless as his was (I saw it too) and then JW skated a perfect long program when he tied with Evan,the short pro. wins in the end. I agree,it's not fair because the long pro. is more tedious and time on the ice but that's the rules. I heard Johnny is not competing in the next round which opens the door for Jeremy Abbot.
I like both Johnny and Evan but I do think Johnny puts on the airs and rubs the judges the wrong way.He has more artistry to his skating though. I don't think they care that he 'may ' be gay either. There's alotta skaters that are.
wow,your boyfriend's hot if he looks like Johnny!!!!!! :p JW is gorgeous up close.I've been within 6 feet of him,again I couldn't get an autograph!

I almost met Sasha but she was surrounded by fans. She's just too sought after.Didn't she quit now and doing movies?
