I know this may be touchy to some but it can be both fun and informative.

My favorite Robin Williams film is Dead Poet's Society. Not only my favorite Robin Williams film but also my favorite of all time. I related so much to not only Mr. Keating but many of the students and let's not forget my love of poetry and my desire to live out my dreams and not the dreams of others. I love the line about simple poems. "It's ok to be simple, just don't let yourself be ordinary".

The most common thing people state on their death bed about their life is deeply saddening. "I wish I had lived my life the way I wanted to and not the way someone else expected me too".

I really loved One Hour Photo and Insomnia. There was something strangely creepy about a man we all know for his comedy roles playing a dark character. I loved it.

One of the reasons I loved Dead Poet's Society was he was in a rather serious role. Had some humor but mainly a serious role.

I've never watched Dead Poet's Society, but I've been a little curious about it.

You won't regret it. It is a fantastic movie. I won't spoil anything. You will love it.

Dead Poets Society is a master piece. I also loved Williams role in Good Will Hunting, the scene where he talks about his wife farting in her sleep was improv and an example of amazing actor chemistry.

Mrs Doubtfire, a classic. As well as Good Morning Vietnam, Patch Adams, Jack, The Birdcage, Hook...

I liked his performance in GWH more than DPS, even though I can't stand Ben or Matt.

DPS is a movie you actually have to sit and watch all the way through. Otherwise you'll likely find it boring if it only partially watching bits and pieces.

I looked up his IMDB page just to make sure I wasn't missing anything and found out we were both born on July 21.

Comedy- Probably Mrs. Doubtfire.... but really my favorite roles he played were voice over works.

Serious- Either GWH or DPS

I'd go with One Hour Photo as well. I think people that can do crazy as well as Robin Williams are either harmless and therefore zany, eccentric, and funny (as Williams played for most of his career) or downright psychos.

Dead Poets Society came into my life around the same time my love for Edgar Allan Poe was beginning to blossom. It was a dark chapter in my life, where my demons were just beginning to take hold, and I had all but given up the fight. I relented to many of the demons that assailed me, but I credit my continued existence in part to Dead Poets Society, Edgar Allan Poe, and Marilyn Manson. Of course, looking back, it was God working through these things to keep me from making the bad choice, so really, the credit goes to God, but I can't help but feel gratitude when I see the influence these things had on my life.

Mrs Doubtfire is my all-time favorite Robin Williams movie. I guess it's because the movie is relatable. I am a child of divorce.

I love "Good Will Hunting", too. And Hook.

The movie marathon continues.....

Oh, yes, Hook was always good. :)

Good Will Hunting, Jumanji, Dead Poets Society, Flubber, Bicentennial Man, and World's Greatest Dad were all great. Jack was okay..I never saw One Hour Photo..will probably check that one out. I also liked Good Morning, Vietnam.

Also his stand up comedy specials are funny too. I think a couple of them are on Youtube.
