Oh for sure, the ZZ Gundam,
and the Strike Freedom Gundam.

I think the Epyon and the Wing Zero Gundam
are probably right behind them, though.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Hyaku Shiki yet...

My favourite has always been wing zero as gundam wing was the only series shown in the uk. since playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam I also like zeta gundam

I think Zeta Gundam is the quintessential Gundam in terms of coolness. It has all the essentials, the transformation gimmick doesn't feel tacked on (due to how fast it transforms), and has the classic color scheme. The original Gundam is great too, but it hasn't aged that well and had a million gimmick weapons.
