  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's hard to pick just a few, I really love the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
I've just started watching Mother Angelica Live Classics, and they are superb. I love when she said 'Inclusive language is from the devil.' My jaw dropped and then when she explained that Jesus didn't just become 'human' Jesus became 'Man' I understood how inclusive language can be harmful rather than just an irritant.

I find the Lord Have Mercy, is just too short. I really really like it.

I also like Fr. Corapi and the catechism.

Of course, Life on the Rock, The Journey Home, The World Over, and Sunday Night Live are the among the top hits for me also.

I couldn't afford cable for a while last year, so I loved listening to their RealPlayer archives.

I LOVE Father Corapi and the Catechism. (And there's the often re-aired EWTN "special", his talk on the Tridium, that is a "must see"--it can be gotten on video.) And as far as I'm concerned "The World Over" is the only news worth watching. The "Journey Home" is so hopeful. And I'm "glued to the set" when "Household of Faith" comes on--BOTH the first season AND the next which is entitled "Now that we're Catholic". (I think that the series is on video and can be bought from EWTN.) Oh, I forgot the question/answer show with Frs. Levi and Trigilio, "Web of Faith".

For 18 years of my life, I didn't have cable. Now that I'm at college, it's in all rooms of the dorms. But we don't get EWTN. :sigh:

Is there any place I can watch it online?

Go to http://www.ewtn.com/audiovideo/index.asp

you can watch EWTN live or RealPlayer archives. :)

I love The Journey home and Life on the Rock
I also love Fr. Groshel and Fr. Corapi. I am so excited because Fr. Corapi will be coming to a church nearby in a couple months and i look forward to seeing him speak.
I also watch that show (cant think of the name) of the older and younger priest that answer emails..anyone remember the name of the show or the two priests name, youd think i would remember since i have seen it tons of time.

Karen, it's Web of Faith with John Trigilio and Bob Levis.

As for the OP the only two programs that I like are the Journey home-I'm interested in all kinds of religious conversion stories, and the above mentioned Web of Faith because I like learning about other religions.

I sometimes watch EWTN. I recently saw a wonderful special on the camino/pilgrimmage in Spain. Great stuff! I also like Johnette Benkovic from "The Abundant Life". Pray for her, she has been so hurt by the death of her son in a car accident...

I also like Bob & Penny Lord (I forgot the name of their show). They travel all over to different shrines where Eucharistic miracles have occurred and talk about the lives of different Saints.

Maybe you guys can answer this questions for me. I once saw an episode of Life on the Rock, and there was a spunky little nun as a guest who seemed *extremely* holy; she was very astute and seemed very wise. Does anyone know who I am talking about?

Thanks! :)
