id say sheik, ofcourse, ive alwase been partial to ninjas.... its the feeling you get when your walking amonst your enemys, almost bumping into them, but all they feel is the hair standing up on the back of there neck.......... but in your words that you took from me: you cant hit what you cant catch.

I'm best with Sheik, but my favorite's Game & Watch. I was addicted to those games as a kid, and own all the galleries. It's so cool seeing all the games in his moves.

Ice Climbers.

And to all the Sheik users: I hope you know she is one of the most easy characters in the game to learn. Obviously mastering a character takes time, but anyone with knowledge of the basics of SSBM can pick up Sheik in 5 minutes. Built-in comboing.. bah. Point the joystick in the direction of your opponent and hit A.

I like young link agility and nimbleness with a added kick makes him the best.....
2nd best would be Mewtwo teleportation and his attacks look so cool......

I do best with Marth, my other favorite is Fox. Marth's usually rated as one of the better ones, and I think I have to agree. Link is also amongst the top of the heap in ratings I've seen too, that I can't figure out, it's plausible, but I certainly can't play him worth a darn.

I am best with Samus, speed, power, and good range. I like shiek also though.

Donkey Kong all the way. I love all the power he has, though he's rather slow. I like the new move he has in melee with headbutting the person into the ground.

1. I havent even got the game
2. The gamecube is rubbish compared to the PS2 and X-box
3. Although I have enjoyed the Mario games on older consoles in the past, Im not a nintendo fanboy

Those last two are a little off topic. But here's my response anyways.

1: I don't care if you don't have it. That's completely up to you.
2: Xbox might be better technologically, and PS2 might be a good system, but whichever one is "best" is totally up to the player. Personally I prefer the GC, because my favorite games are for it, not the other two. So saying that the Xbox or PS2 blow the gamecube out of the water or that the GC is rubbish is nonsense.
3: Well on you.
