I never saw boys with pants at their knees. We live in Australia and we had the hottest and longest summer ever cos it was supposed to finish in february but was really hot in march. We have to wear short summer dresses and skirt or it gets too hot. But its less hot this week and summer weather is for sure over!

I'm so sorry I didn't realize someone had replied because I get so much spam in my inbox. The pants to the knees thing was an exaggeration, but yeah. If the weather is hot, by all means accommodate.

It's just that when women wear super short dresses with no sleeves to go on the news in the middle of winter, it irks me.

Basically, practical vs fashion :/

Honestly i dont like where it's headed, girls seem to wear such "revealing" things now a days..and they wonder why there is news reports of horrible stuff happening.

I believe that the Bible should be our first standard.
I believe that common sense should be second
Fashions come after that.
So the first thing to think of is where the bible says that women should dress modestly. I also cover my head, that is my interpretation of 1 Corinthians 11.
Next is common sense- finances and weather. I wear more in the winter than I do in the summer. It also doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money buying a new wardrobe of "fashionable" clothes every season.
Outside of those requirements, I don't have anything wrong with wearing stylish clothing. It's just a matter of keeping priorities straight
