It certainly can seem like simulations are dying at times. Does anyone here enjoy a good hardcore sim?
I play IL2/Pacific Fighters: a WW2 flight sim.
With TrackIr and a good joystick this game is still amazing after 6 years. Flying online with other people via hyperlobby is such a blast. Screaming out of the sun in a mustang with .50s blazing at some poor pilot who didn't watch his back, or conversely trying to stay calm and asking for help in a Betty G4M bomber while hellcats are diving towards you and your gunners are starting to fire is an experience I haven't had in any other game.
I just picked up Enemy Engaged 2: a helo sim
I enjoy Silent Hunter 3: a WW2 sub sim
I am thinking about getting Microsoft Flightsimulator X
but haven't yet.
What sims do you guys enjoy? Or do you absolutely hate them?
