Fake christians on this forums :(

it really hurts me to know that i have studied and there are people ( and i know there are people on the CF) that act like christians yet they are infact.. followers of satan acting like christians and trying to pull us away by God by making us bitter, ect.

i know that this is true because that is one of the missions of the church of satan... so if anyone here is depressed by someone else.. just know that they very well may not be christians.. but followers of satan... also demons can even work through christians that are not filled with the Holy Spirit or those christians that are not full following God..

If you research what i have said about satanic people going in to churches and i really believe.. the CF.. then you will know what i say is true... just in the same way as most rock music is satanic ( im not lieing either because i used to listen to bands like "slipknot"
and they work with evil spirits in many ways... and other music is just plan Horrible.. like most rap.. talking about the things they talk about... dont give evil spirits a chance to mess with you or harm you... keep away from the world and its snares... and i have learned that depression is an evil spirit...

if possible depressed people should read this book:
The Shall Expel Demons by Derek Prince

it talks alot about evil spirits and how to have victory over them.

there are many evil spirits in the world and all of the christians need to be aware of them... Jesus gives us all power over the enemy... but we must follow jesus everyday

Just because someone acts a certain way doesn't mean they aren't Christian. it means that they are carnal.
A carnal christian is someone who has accepted Jesus but is not fully grown spiritually. One who is saved but lives by the flesh and not the spirit. Remember that we all were there once and many of us are still there. I know I still have a long way to go. There may be false prophets out there but that is not our job to judge. We have been warned against this and it is our responsibility to discern.

I listen to Slipknot
as well as other bands like Alice in Chains
However, I noticed I dont listen to them as much anymore because I prefer oldies. I will listen to them when I want to hear them but other than that no.
I also don't like the depressing lyrics which is one reason I don't listen to them. I know when a song will affect me or not.

I really don't think that everything you're saying is true. I know for a fact that I probably have made many people depressed, just because I come in here to blow off some steam. But that is part of what makes CF a help. If you think that any one who is not upbeat and happy is from the devil, you're wrong.

You are correct in the fact that all Christians should be aware of those that are trying to pull them away from the love of God. I DO believe that there are demons and satan trying to destroy us. However, do not confuse people's shortcomings with acts of the devil.

I see where you are coming from but it isn't our job to judge others for whether they are being fake or not because we have faults of our own and all sin is the same in God's eyes. Whether it is fakeness or something else we all have our dark blot. We can't learn everything in the short amount of time we have to live but the important thing is that we strive to be in the likeness of God. Each of us have to worry about our own relationship with God because when we try and think about everyone else's relationship, then it just drives the fellowship apart. Best Wishes, Lily00

well i know about all the Demons and the Flesh but i was talking about was people that are worshippers to satan and that wanna make us fall away... its sad to see that someone said he listens to slipknot (i know you say you listen to oldies now) @ the person that said he listened to slipknot... mostly what 08 (the singer of slipknot) is trying to do is give the listeners many evil spirits like vermilion, eeyore, ect many people have killed there selves because of this one band... i hope that you donot have the demon that they call Eeyore ( not its real name) because he swears alot and is vile like most demons and i have had problems with that type of demon before... also vermilion can prolly hurt certain kinds of people (like me) but still all slipknot is "spitting out" is evil spirits just like the rest of the satanic bands.. o yeah ever been chocked by an evil spirit before? i have.. 3 times.. its not fun at all and all my problems are because i did not listen to God and so i gave place to the devil and giving place to the devil is not fun at all and can lead to you dieing in the flesh or in the spirit( they can make you bitter and whatnot and then you will fall away from God) im not here to make fights... im here to tell the truth.. i was sad and now most of you have made me sadder because you are telling me im a trouble maker possibly well God still loves me and i just wanna say the truth, i know, from facts, that there is a very High chance of witches that would just love to plant tares(you know Jesus talks about it in a parable) well tares are poisonus and i was just sayin all this cause i was sad at the facts and not i come to a place that is supposed to be christian but they seem to all not be in concord and im still tasting fruits of you all and i know that if you eat poison that you will have fruits of poison... im not an enemy and there is a point to this though many of you seem to think there is no point... i too have my dark spots.. and God is the light and is helping me to be Like Christ.. for a last though... how many of you(not you but God through you) have ever healed a person in Jesus name? im not to that point yet and if any of you have ever been used in that way with the faith that both persons had to be healed by God.. then that would cheer me up and let me taste some more of your fruits... im not worried if you give me poison fruits because God said for a true Christian will cast out demons, speak in new tounges and another sign he gave was that they will drink poison and it will not harm them

I agree with GoldenViolet- she said what I was going to say. You should always line up what you are being hearing with the Word of God. If it doesn't line up, throw it out the window.

I agree too that if someone continually brings you down or depresses you, that you should stay away from them. This would hold true in the Christian and secular worlds. We can come up with enough negativity ourselves and we don't need anyone else's help. At least I dont.

I get what you're saying. I would expect some people to come here to stir up trouble under the guise of being Christian. It happens quite a bit. I doubt that such would actually be into Satanism for real, but there's a LOT of disrepspect for our faith amongst others, and I mean a lot. I was naive for a while, but now that I've looked around, I realize how foolish we seem to so many people. It's not so much from Satanists, but from society in general and especially, I think, from the younger peeps. I can sense some of my aquiantances who know my beliefs kinda disrespect me at times and like to take pot shots at God just to trouble me. It mostly motivates me to be more zealous and open about the faith.

I sense your deep sincerity, but I think you read something that has blown things out of proportion...I say that cuz I in my past have been stirred up because of some hyped up stuff I read. I sense some of the repliers think you're taking whatever you read too seriously, but I don't think they know where you're coming from.

Just remember, God works EVERYTHING for the good of His own. Yeah, there are going to be a lot of peeps out there who are going to be working stealthily and try to beat on your faith, some will be quite open, but God uses that to help us have our flesh crucified so that we can be resurrected in Christ's image. He uses those people to help us grow in faith and to give us experience and thus make us stronger in Him. So no worries, dear. Though it seems that we are being assaulted by Satan many times, know that God is so much greater and everything is guided by His will(some will disagree, not that I care). If you or any of us are being attacked, it's not without reason. It's simply our job to stick close by Him and not compromise righteousness or the Truth. ^_-

Ditto, I have depression. I come here trying to find answers, but i'm sure somewhere along the line, i've depressed someone, not intentionally, but i can be pretty down sometimes. I'm glad this forum is here, where i can express myself, and try to find some sense of things. Depression hurts, and in a forum on depression, i'm sure all this talk about it is going to bring someone down a bit. No offense intended.

Hmm... may I comment on the bit about depression?

I do believe that there are often purely spiritual causes for depression. However, there are also some purely physical causes for it as well. Certain medications are known to cause it, and once the person stops taking them, then the depression ceases. So... unless all medications that cause depression are Satanic (which I think is clearly absurd) it logically follows that all depression is not from Satan. Depression is an extremely complicated issue. I currently suffer from mild depression, which I do not take medication for right now because I worked through the emotional and spiritual factors that were making it downright unlivable. However, I have a huge family history of depression. For me, it's genetic.

To say that depression is only an evil spirit is incredibly simplistic, medically uninformed, and could cause serious damage to someone who is seeking healing from depression and already feels like a million things are wrong with them.

I would also like to say that, while yes! there are many "Christians" who are not, there is virtually no benefit in trying to figure out who they are. We're instructed to guard against false teaching, not against false believers. Indeed, God's Word says that many will approach Christ on the last day fully believing that they will enter into Heaven. I think we need to be searching our own hearts for evidence of the Spirit's fruit instead of analyzing our neighbors for it.

AND, it's impossible for someone else to "make" you bitter. That's a choice you make. If anything, we should have our guard up towards any kind of sin entering our hearts, not blaming others for it.

Evil spirits, demons... they are hard subjects to swallow. The unsaved, most certaintly, but not for the children of God. I have begun to realize that everyone has a right to their own beliefs and I agree with Guine that we need to search our own hearts first. There are many things as a Christian we don't know, many things we will never find out until we get to Heaven. The most important part though is through Christ we are saved through grace and if we have that then anything we learn that is true through Christ is gain, everything we learn that is not true we learn by and grow from.

I'm fairly new to the forum world, and also a bit naive, I assumed the people I talk to on this forum are sincere with who they are, I recognize this is not always the case, but would hope and pray that we have sincere honest people on this forum. I have even known christians who twist the truth to justify making a point or trying to make a adjustment in anothers behaviour, The bible says the devil is the father of all lies, so we must use truth and love to help others. And pray for those who dont understand...
