A few years ago, when the progressive split from the main SDA forum, it was claimed by CF that the main forum couldn't use the SDA name because of GC owns the rights. So this forum was named traditional adventist forum, labeled into faith group.
In reality it was probably CF's hatred towards SDAs used that excuse.
It doesn't matter where SDAs are, no one is saved by belonging to a church, group or organization. The only ones going to heaven are those who know and obey the "Everlasting Gospel".
The "everlasting Gospel" ceased to be taught around the 6th Century AD. Then around the 1844s the "Everlasting Gospel" was almost taught. By by the 1950s any hint to the true "Everlasting Gospel" was lost and stopped being taught.
The "gospel" that is taught by the churches is the "Catholic" gospel and has nothing to do with Salvation.
I pray that each of you will go to our web site and learn what the true Everlasting Gospel is that Jesus taught for our salvation. Without it, you cannot see the Kingdom of God. 2 John 8-10 *??????

In fairness, SDA's are probably the only group on here that condemns everyone else to hell.
I might be leaving the SDA Church, due to reservations about Ellen White. But I will say that Adventists don't say only Adventists are saved. They believe that anyone who hasn't been convicted by the Holy Spirit of the "Adventist truths" but is following God the only way they know how is still saved. That includes people that keep the "false sabbath."

I might be leaving the SDA Church, due to reservations about Ellen White. But I will say that Adventists don't say only Adventists are saved. They believe that anyone who hasn't been convicted by the Holy Spirit of the "Adventist truths" but is following God the only way they know how is still saved. Nevermind. I'm staying. I had some questions about EGW that made her seem like a false prophet.
I'm glad you made the choice to stay... I was afraid you were looking for a reason to placate your wife at the expense of your faith. If you have any questions/concerns with Adventist odctrine or sister Whites writings, don't hesitate to ask. There are quite a few EGW scoffers on here but if you're wanting to understand and find answers, the Spirit will provide.
