Why don't you tell us what you think fear is? For English language speakers, it is just what I said it was. It is a shrinking away from harm, which requires knowledge of harmful consequences. If you don't have knowledge or belief that harm will ensue, then you can't have fear. Period. It's not either knowledge or fear, it's both.
Merriam Webster:
Fear (noun)
1. a : an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger
1. b (1) : an instance of this emotion (2) : a state marked by this emotion
Sorry, what advice was I giving? I said that we evolved on Earth, so this is where we belong. Where do you think we belong?
I feel that we are not made to know if we have an afterlife or if Jesus came back from the dead, and if we did know those things there would be little mystery left to creation. We would no longer have faith and Religion would be more like a history lesson or some scientific facts. Instead we find ourselves not knowing these great mysteries and we can hope for Heaven and fear Hell, after all we really do not know for sure if we do have an after life or not.
Maybe it is better to have a belief based on a good argument that makes more sense to you along the lines of Evolution and the Bible is just a collection of stories, but I feel it is better to have hope. It is more authentic to our existence. For thousands of years humans have prayed and believed in the divinity of Jesus Christ or Allah or a different deity, so it is really going against the grain to not have any hope for an after life or belief in a higher power at all. We still have hope!
I'm assuming you mean non-human animals; human animals worry about things like this a fair bit.
There is a big difference between the wealthy West and other nations in these regards, in that there are vastly more examples of such in poorer nations.
An why is that? It doesn't sound natural.

And there are those who are murdered, those who die young, and those
who die of cancer young. Those born to abusive parents, with defects
due to parental drug use, and some with missing organs. No difference
between east or west. They experience these same conditions listed.
Because of our complex brains. Brains are pattern recognition engines. They take in data and make connections. And the human brain is so complex that it has detected its own operation, and recognised its own operation as such. We do not know the precise mechanisms, however, that lead to what humans are.
Are you looking to insert a deity into that gap? All human behaviours are natural, by definition.

I think we belong, not where your religion tells you you belong, but where mine tells me.
Hopefully you agree with my process for deciding.
Should I change my belief system?
Your's prefers that misfits should all die young before those cretans reproduce.
I'm not sure about the misfits line. You should probably look up the term atheist because I think you are way off the mark.
Where does your belief system tell you you belong?
So many people spending their lives hoping for an afterlife. Do they spend their afterlives hoping for an afterafterlife?
This is very, very sad.
That's a term for those not fit for their environment.
Those who should die to leave room in the food chain
for the fit to reproduce.
Not on this current planet. Like any job, it has it's minor benefits and moments of joy.
Do you think that the level of conviction you have for your religious beliefs is supposed to indicate, in some mysterious manner, their veracity? Not if their afterlife is eternal bliss in the presence of Jesus. There is nothing more preferable than this for me. Nor do I hope for an afterlife. One does not hope to obtain that which he already possesses.
What planet do you belong on? Are you originally from that planet?
What job are you here to accomplish?
What do you consider the minor benefits of being on Earth, and what are your moments of joy being on Earth has brought you?
The Kingdom of Heaven
Except it isn't. One who things this world is not for humans is to be pitied and helped if possible.Of course it is sad for you. It should be.
