  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just got home from work and I was reading through this thread and there are so many new people Welcome all you new Fab 40's!!

Another thing - I think that after 30 years of waitressing, I can honestly say that I think I'm getting to old for it. I am exhausted, and I don't think there is one part of my body that doesn't ache I think I need to find a more sedate job.

I still can not see his pet.

















I checked my options and have seeing CF pets shut off.
I knew I saw pets in posts sometimes.
Apparently when I was reading the board without logging in.

Babies are so adorable and can be intoxicating.
I saw a teen post on her blog she wants one.

Looks like you plan to do laundry today too.
I should probably think about doing that myself.

Good morning all you great folks

Cookieboo, I don't know how you do it, I have the utmost respect for anyone spending time on their feet. My part-time job is like that and I can agree with you, some days my everything aches.

Abiel...awwwwww, a baby!! I love the smell of babies (you know, when they are freshly cleaned). No grandbabies for me yet, how about you other folk?

I don't go into work until 11 today, I just might have to work on this house a little. My church's homecoming is tomorrow so it starts later in the day and we have a meal afterward...yum!!

Mags, how are you feeling this morning? Does the fibro affect you everyday?
