Hey CoolMom I am freezing here in 39 degrees. I don't think I am in Southern Cali anymore. Yes Happy MLK day to you to. My baby girls b-day was last Thursday, she turned 4.

Hi, back, Tricia; we got the cold here, too.
Don't have plans today, just getting ready for the week.
Went to the 2nd hand store last night w/no kids...it was fun, but they closed early
so I might go back today. There are a few within close proximity of each other, and I find such cute things for baby and me. (For some reason, my 5 y.o. has gotten more hand-me-downs from neighbors than I have ever seen in my life!) The boys, well, after they turn about 8, you cannot find anything good in their size in thrift stores...they wear them out!!

I am home today too, but only because my car was dead this morning...argh!!! I have so much year end stuff to do this week and I have lots of shifts at the restaurant too so taking this unscheduled day off is really frustrating!!! Oh well, I am making the best of it and I am making a huge pot of turkey/veggie soup.


I may have to brave the snow and walk down to the grocery store in a while....brrrrrr, we got about 3 inches and it's still coming down. I love snow - it looks soooo pretty

Just making soup. I may have to tackle the bathroom today But I got to psyche myself up for it!!!

The bathroom is the worst isn't it? I wonder if there is any bathroom fairies that'll come in in the middle of the night and clean it.

Big, huge pot of turkey/veggie - I have about 3 turkey carcasses in my freezer that were left over from the community Christmas dinner we had. Thought I better start using them up

Yum!! Now that sounds good. Enough for all of us We'll make a road trip and be over for dinner. We can load up the bus, fly Theo and Unni over and have a great time.
