Extra Marital Sex?

I have nooo clue if this should be posted here, but there is just way to many categories.

any way, why is pre marital sex so shuned apon, but yet extra marital sex seems to be fine. Should both be just as wrong? Having sex while your married i always thought is fine, as long is there is a chance to become pregnant, but having it while on the pill or using condoms etc.. isn't that a sin?

I know alot of married couples will disagree but i cant stop thinking that is because they are choosing what they want to believe, i mean its really easy to tell kids what to do, but its harder when they need to stop something.

Alright, it depends where you get your answers, I guess.

If you are a Romanist, then I can't help you.

If you are a protestant, you have two choices --

1) A strictly biblical answer and be totally confused

2) Rely on what the Church has said for 2000 years.

The first option is a mess because sexuality is confused in the bible. It is confused because the situations are so different. Women are property in Hebrew literature, and in the New Testament it's not much better. Situations are hard to be compared to today.

But as far as birth control -- well, there's no mention of it in scripture, so you might as well not think it's wrong (assuming you are protestant)

I have never heard such a thing!.... Ministers encourageing it? Do you know that is the same as adultery, oldwise?

Pro 6:32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

Lev 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Exo 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

No if, and or but about it. The Scriptures are VERY clear on this matter.

I have a vision of sex to decrease in the levels of Heaven.
If a christian wants to have sex.......I think it's better to be a christian soldier or an athlet etc...without marrying;
I think he would be more honest and would have an Heaven...

God condemns extramarital sex, not extra marital sex. 8^)

Angel, that makes no sense. I don't get it at all.

I want to say that one can destroy himself when maybe can exist an his christian way..........

First of all my opinion is that extra marital sex is like an adultery even if it's not like a concubinate if it's not a concubinate....., the difference is that a concubinate is an evident bad example for other christians.........

The second point is that this adultery is out of Heaven even if he has Salvation the same...........
because marriage is sacred therefore is better for him another way, before marriage, more free to take however an Heaven(a my opinion.....).

It's not easy to understand what I say but it's not a
problem.....
An only question for you:
can a christian be a soldier?......
Maybe this is one of the great problems.......but it's not very important.
