Nope. You made a general blanket accusation against us. Retract or back with evidence.I was on about Known scientists.
And who would they be ?
I can state categorically that I do not know either one of them, but I do know a prize winner or two.One example is Albert Einstein. He didn't believe in a personal god who's concerned with human actions and behaviors. But he did accept some of the teachings of Spinoza. Which is that what religions call God, is an impersonal "essence" that underlies everything we observe about the world and everything it contains. Spinoza called it the substance of the universe. In the sense that it stands below everything we see, know, and experience.
Another is Peter Higgs. The British Nobel Prize willing physicist, who died this April at age 94. He postulated what is now known as the Higgs boson. Which, in concert with the Higgs field, gives mass to all the atoms which make up stars, planets, people, and everything in the universe. Incidentally, the Higgs boson is nicknamed the "God particle." Which Higgs--an atheist--didn't like at all.. But he knew it was kind of a joke.

Having in the past worked with scientist, I'm having the hardest time understanding your attitude towards that group of people. It's the weirdest thing to me. The question that bubbles up for me is why would a scientist be any more dishonest than yourself? Please note that I am NOT calling you dishonest. Can any think of one really honest scientist in today's world ?

You've apparently made a specific claim of dishonesty against one particular scientist. Dawkins is certainly not all of us or even most of us. He is just one of us.
Having researched most scientists like Copernicus, Issac Newton, Einstein, Charles Darwin, Edwin Hubble, Thomas Edison, Kepler etc, it's very hard to find an honest scientist.
The only one I could come up with was Tesla.
Those guys are all dead. None of them are scientists in "today's world" (to use your phrasing). Other than your implication by book cover of Dawkins, do you even know of any scientists today, or are you just going to tar us all with your broad brush?Having researched most scientists like Copernicus, Issac Newton, Einstein, Charles Darwin, Edwin Hubble, Thomas Edison, Kepler etc, it's very hard to find an honest scientist.

Science isn't a boogie word, it just means discovering how the universe consistently operates by observing evidence.Hi there,
As a believer, I've often pondered how science and faith intersect,, especially when it comes to understanding life itself.
How do we reconcile scientific discoveries with our Christian beliefs: ?? For example, the theory of evolution or the Big Bang--concepts that seem to challenge the biblical account of creation. Yet,, many Christians find that science enhances their faith,, revealing the intricacies of God's creation.
How do you approach this balance: ?? Do you see science as a tool to better understand God's work,, or do you find certain scientific ideas conflict with your faith: ?? Let's explore how we can embrace both faith and science in our journey to understand the world and our place in it. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences on this fascinating topic...!

And what research, pray tell, was that?
About the earth.
That is the most non-indicative answer possible. Explain: what research did you carry out that leads you to say that 'most scientists like Copernicus, Issac Newton, Einstein, Charles Darwin, Edwin Hubble, Thomas Edison, Kepler etc' aren't 'very honest'?
Well for a start the earth is level & it doesn't move.
Having researched most scientists like Copernicus, Issac Newton, Einstein, Charles Darwin, Edwin Hubble, Thomas Edison, Kepler etc, it's very hard to find an honest scientist.

If you just want some honest scientists, read up about Katalin Kariko and Drew Weissman. These 2 researchers at the Univ. of Pennsylvania developed the mRNA vaccines that provide immunity to Covid. They shared last year's Nobel Prize for Medicine. Despite the castigation. and outright lying, about their work that's all over the internet on sketchy, ignorant, uninformed web sites, mRNA vaccines are huge advances, which have lessened the seriousness of SARS-CoV-2, and saved many lives.

Nothing religious or philosophical here. Just good science at work.
Oh, let's not turn this thread into a flat earther post.
I didn't want to say, but you did ask.
