A few years ago one of the mainstream news shows did a piece on Chevy S10s exploding in side impact crashes. To prove how dangerous S10s were they rigged them with explosives and remote detonators, and staged some side-impact crashes. The S10s in the filmed demonstrations caught fire or exploded.

In light of that I want to discuss whether it is tempting God for a Charismatic believer to ride in a Chevy S10. Now this thread is for discussing the dangers and inappropriateness of Charismatics riding in S10s, and any discussion of the news program or the C4 will be reported as off topic. Also notice that I did not mention NBC, so this discussion has absolutely nothing to do with NBC, even though it was one of the NBC news hit piece shows that ran the fake program.

Yes, I have a point.

Huh. I just thought it was a blessing from God that He gave me the wisdom to drive a Ford.

Is driving a Chevy an act of faith, an opportunity to meet new people on the side of the road and establish a good relationship with your mechanic; or just plain stupidity where you needlessly test God? idk.

:holy:
My point in the OP is that to point out that macarthur teachings are unbiblical and that his book and conference will not be at all scriptural is not off topic in a thread founded on macarthur's book and conference.

Really? That was your point? Are you sure about that?

Yup watched 'em myself, AND read Nader's "Unsafe at any speed" crucifying the Corvair. BUT HEY!!! Remember the "Pinto" and Ford's "Kill 'em anyway" letter???

No Biggie, y'all! The "Religious paranoid" can always create some evocative foolishness to tie GUILT on other folks, for their "amusement and edification".

But then some folks wear their "Religion" so tight, you really wonder how they breathe at all -

Of course my favorite, that I drove for years, was a '65 VW Bus, which guarantees to you the ability in an accident, to be your own hood ornament.

Simple as that.
