What is the value of explaining to Cessationists that the perfect thing to come from 1 Cor 13 and reference to the Greek word Teleios, is the glory of God in the face of Christ and the breath of His mouth? From 2 Corinthians 4:6.

What is the value in it? Rarely any value at all, from my experience, but sometimes if the cessationist is just young in the faith and open to actually being corrected by scripture, seeds can be planted. If they're reformed theology, I usually just walk away since reformed theologists place man far above the bible and are immune to scriptural discussion at anything but the most childish levels. If they are Reformed just tell them how much more God loves them than everyone else and walk away.

"Oh, you're Reformed theology. Yes, God loves only you enough to save you and everyone else can literally go to Hell."

Sounds like the religious people, "mercy for us, condemnation for the others."

Jesus will return an light the whole world at once, everyone will be on their knees.
