  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Since I am completely intoxicated, I figure you would like a passage from my second book, unpublished.

“First lesson…” Patch said to her. “…don’t worry about falling. The second you think to yourself ‘I am going to fall’ is the second you do just that.”
“Okay…” was all Goldie said. Her voice was breathy, tense. She was staring up into him with the eyes of a newborn observing a world that it has not yet known.
He taught and led. She observed and followed. She fell from time to time. She wobbled frequently, especially in the beginning. Each wobble was usually punctuated by a hysterical sound from Goldie—something that was a groan and laughter at the same time. Sometimes she would come dangerously close to falling and there would be that moment—when his heart seemed to lurch to its next beat and the world became thick and silent—just before he caught her. Goldie would wrap herself around him, shrieking in one moment and giggling madly in the next. His heart would flutter, tears of gratitude would form in his eyes and Patch would think to himself: This is what love is.
