examples how you step out on faith

Was just wanting to hear others stories of how they put there lives in God's hands and stepped out on faith. I have a chance to take a managers job at work, but in my line a managers job takes a major pay cut, somewhere close to 42%. I have a very physical job and have been doing it for 15 years and my body is tired. I also work nights now and don't sleep well during the day. I am always tired, which hinders my time with my 5 and 7 year old. My wife and I also are looking into fostering as well. We also are in the process of selling our house and getting something cheaper. If I take the job and don't sell the house anytime soon, I could be in trouble. Was just wondering on any others lives where they just took a leap of faith.

I met my wife online. She lived over 800 miles away from me. I was sure God put her in my life. She need me to be up by her, so I took a leap of faith, packed a suit case jumped on a plane and came up to her. In a state I had never been to, and I left everything behind. God did make it easy for me because things were not going well where I lived, But I had no idea if it would work out. I had no idea if she won't get cold feet and not be there to pick me up. All i had was a suit case.

Pray about it, listen for God and when you are sure of God's will take the leap of faith.

Me and my wife were married 3 years later and have been married in October 4 years. We are very happy, we lived in hotels and a lot of bad places along the way but we made it.

Looking back if could go back and tell my self something before I got on to that plane. I would say this is the best choice you have ever made in your life.

wish you luck
