Whenever you don't feel like going to church, sit down and examine WHY you DON'T feel like going to church. Don't just go "force" yourself to go. That only produces legalism which leads to the ultimate reality of you standing before the Judge of judges, and say unto him, "Lord, I went to church every Sunday; Lord, I did this; Lord, I did that."
Examine WHY you don't feel like going to church.
Let me role model the answer.
I didn't feel like going to church today because I saw no point to it. I have DOUBTS. I do NOT take seriously the everlasting treasures of Christ. That's my confession.
How about you?
Remember,
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
[1 John 1:9]
Christ is King, whether we go to church or not, whether we glorify him or not, whether we are believers or not. Christ is King.
