I don't know whether this is the appropriate thread in which to post this link to an article in The New York Times, "My Ex-Gay Friend". If it is not the appropriate place, would the moderators please place it where it belongs?
Here is a secular newspaper with an online edition presenting an article, written by a homosexual, about a friend who was a former homosexual activist but who is now attending a small Bible school in Wyoming after being converted to Christ.
There are a number of cynical aspects to this article, but it provides some insight into some of the struggles of homosexuals who are changed by the living Christ.
Although it's a rather lengthy article, I found the read worthwhile. I'm a long-term general and family counsellor.
