Now whats interesting to not is that if the merry-go-round spins clockwise than the kids will spin clockwise as well. Now if that is true then why do we have other planets that spin opposite directions than us.
True mass isn't kids. You have to prove that some mass would cling on or not. Are you saying that the mass in the Big Bang theory can hold on if it wanted to. Please, give me a break. You don't KNOW that ALL of the kids are going to fall off. Some could still be clinging on.

Well, here is a nice link you may be interested in. It, and other researcher's work, dismantles the 'Hovind Theory', point by point.
Enjoy.

You've denied God His creation as it took place.
Well in most Biology handbooks, it will be said that the earth is 4.5 billions of years old. well if it moves 95 miles every million years then it in 4.5 billion years it will be 42750 miles closer to the earth. Are you really telling me that the moon being so close to the earth means diddly squat. The tides would drown everyone twice a day.5. Once again, Dr. Hovind's figures just boggle the mind! Let us
assume, for the sake of argument, that the Moon is receding at 6 inches
per year. If we go back a million years, then the Moon was 6 million
inches closer to the earth. That comes to about 95 miles! Since the
Moon is about 240,000 miles away, that doesn't amount to diddly-squat!
Indeed, since the Moon doesn't orbit in a perfect circle it varies more
than that on its own.
It does ... and those who deny our Lord His creation according to Genesis are in danger of meeting the same eternal fate as the unbelievers.Originally posted by messenjah
I am trying to show Christians that evolution goes against the Bible.
actually, a question i've had for a long time, too. What i said was that if The Fall was a parable, there is no particular event that did it. Adam and Eve are plot devices. God created beings that are capable of sin, and capable of salvation. The important thing to take away from the story is that we are all sinning creatures, and should behave accordingly. OR, you can take, from the same story, the idea that God is jealous, judgemental, inattentive, and a vindictive liar. And that Adam and Eve were judged for a crime committed before they were able to distinguish between Good and Evil. Ignorance of the Law is no excuse, but the inability to comprehend the law, or understand consequences, is an important part of many legal defenses.Originally posted by messenjah
1)You said that when people fell into sin isn't important. Well that doesn't make sense because we fell into sin because of Adam's sin. Why would God put us into sin without a reason.
wow, you take the one statement a LOOOOOOOONG ways. Tell me when you're finished putting words in my mouth.2)You also said that the fall of Satan is a parable. Are you saying that there is no Satan. What is against us than? Is Satan, a good guy? Well that totally goes against scripture.
No, not really. I discussed the possibility of Genesis as parable to make it a teeny bit less antithetic to the theory of evolution. i don't believe in God the way you do, or Satan either, for that matter.I really have no idea what your talking about because what you've just shown me is that you don't believe that there is a Satan but you do believe there is a God.

It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity and freedom of worship here.
Then you must be an atheist zealot foaming at the mouth with hatred and plenty of time on your hands. Thanks for providing yet another example of such.Originally posted by Zadok
Really? Where does it state this in the bible? You are a dogmatic fundamental zealot that prolly takes EVERYTHING in the bible on a litteral sense...
Yes, I do take Genesis literally, because that's my faith and I recognize it to be the only logical explanation.

Atheists can't handle the truth .
That just shows your Atheist ignorance, because you couldn't be more wrong or bigoted, but wrong and bigoted you are.Originally posted by Zadok
Really? Just like you seem a fundamentalist, womanizing, pro-slavery, dogmatic, everything-in-the-bible-is-literal, i'm right-your wrong, dogmatic zealot.
Thanks for providing yet another example of such.
Try to understand the words of the Christian fundamentalist preacher Dr. Martin Luther King who once said "I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go to the mountain. And I've looked over, and I've seen the promised land!"
