Once more... science does not, in any way, say that all humans are descendends from a single couple.

To my knowledge, there is only a genetic bottleneck in the human genome at around the time of the eruption of the Toba volcano. Without looking it up, from memory, I think this was around 70.000 years ago. But even then, this bottleneck is estimated to be around 2000 individuals. Which is a very small population. Populations of that size are generally considered to be in danger of extinction.

But humanity survived it.

But please note: 2000 individuals. That's about the smallest size that human population ever was. There were never "just 2" (or 8, when god hit the reset button with the flood).

Moreover, 2 (or 8) is a biologically unsustainable population. Populations of that size are doomed to extinction.

But hey.... don't let reality get in your way.

I went ahead and looked it up.

It seems I am conflating 2 different things here:

There was a bottle-neck that could have reduced human (= homo sapiens) population to about 2000 individuals, but most likely it was not due to a sudden catastrophic event, but rather a much longer period of "dificulty" for the species for more circumstantial reasons (fierce competition, food shortage, slow climate change, etc.. a combination of factors).

Population size began to expand again with the stone age.

In any case, the deeper point remains untouched: there never were "only 2 or 8" homo sapiens in our ancestral history.

It seem immediately obvious that God HAS allowed brutal means for many lifeforms to exist for such a long period of time.

Whether one believes in God or not, the fact is that when we look at nature it is red in tooth and claw. God after all sat down one day and built parasitoids.

So whether it was evolution or God bringing these organisms into existance, naturally or by constant tinkering, or not it is the same state of affairs.

What on earth id the Great White Throne Judgment? And why 4004 B.C. That date was never stated by Usher. It was, however, stated by his followers. Additional attempts to use the Bible as a measuring standard have yielded other, conflicting dates. So 4004 is really in question.
