I think we can all choose to be, but I think people are more like variables rather than fixed constants: what we choose to desire and let in our minds is what makes us who we are in a sense, and no one is really exempt from goodness or evil.

I think I'll add that humans are very strange creatures. We tend to define what good and evil is for ourselves, even when we think we are all reading from the same book, and we often associate that "knowledge" with strange and rather insignificant appearances and practices. For instance, racial segregation, or hatred based on culturally defined practices. Is there any good reason why people should be killing each other over style of dress or differences of opinion? No, not really, but that doesn't stop us from believing it is right to do so. History reveals that humanity is truly infected with a kind of moral sickness related to different understandings of "good" and "evil."

^And to take that even further down the rabbit-hole: how can people truly resort to violence over such insignificant things, being convinced that differences are "evil" and one's own intent is "good," unless we are playing God? It's like megalomania, or a kind of "God" disorder, of which most of humanity (and the religious are definitely not exempt) appears to have been guilty of at times.

I know humanity is depraved, but I feel like I'm the worst.

My inability to love and connect with people, my love of suffering and causing drama.

The question I always wonder is to what different % of me remains evil post salvation experience. It seems I have slowly conformed to the image of Christ and it's harder to do the sin business with any peace and facility.

I also struggle that non-Christians don't seem as evil as I would expect--they give to charities,exhibit altruism, interact respectfully, celebrate a sense of community. Get rid of criminals and tyrants and we're on our way to "heaven" on earth. Maybe I just haven't taken off my rose-colored glasses in a while but it does seem like I see more good than bad.

I'm not one of them.. lol.

Anyways a mod can delete this thread if they want. I don't really know why I made it. When I get depressed I just do strange things.

I have a problem with over empathizing with everyone and because of it, anxiety from connecting with people.

You're not evil. just cut that crap (cant cus) out. You've got some problems you should seek help for though. Get that "im evil" crap out of your head right now though. It's not healthy. We are all sinners, doesn't make you super evil or weird dude.Talk with a psychologist. If you take depression meds then take em.

I wasn't even going to post on this forum again but I can see you reachin out. Whether you admit it or not, you are.

Here's my advice.

1) get off the forums. get off the web. quit reading random crap on the interent and filling your head with weird ideas. I got psychosis because of that i'll let you know. I let weird ideas in, and it started to skew my perception of everything. actually sounded a lot like you now that I think about it..
2) do hobbies, get outside, get into nature, start UPLIFTING yourself, not trying to define yourself with unhealthy ideas. (ie your evil) cut that out man.
3) seek more professional help than you are currently getting (if you are at all.)
4) Pray, find God deep within yourself. the holy spirit is there. whatever it means to you. there's GOOD there. not Evil. don't buy into that lie.
5) start to find happiness again in your life.

If I may second all of that, Meh. I was trying to think of a way to say pretty much this same thing to you that Thomas did. I think we've all gone through this, some unfortunately way longer than others, such as you. And it isn't going to be easy to get out of this kind of slump, either. Few problems in this life are easy to overcome. The point is, it sounds to me like you are trying to reach out for help. There is good and evil in everyone. Sometimes ... we have to fight particularly hard not to "feed the black wolf".
