  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Something I've been thinking about and thought I'd ask you all here. There are supposedly 2 billion+ Christians on the planet right now, roughly 1/3 of the world's population. How is it that there is sooo much evil in the world? Seems kinda paradoxical almost that if 1 out of every 3 claims Christ that there is such a lack of good and love. Why do you think this is?

No Citizen, it is the Christians who are expanding the cause of Christ in the earth and it is expanding.

I believe the world is in revival, but it is having the eyes to see it that makes the difference. The church is seeing more salvations, healings, and dead raisings now than anytime in church history in the world.

That is Pastor Randy Clark, you can find him on Facebook

Just as an example and hopefully will help encourage you.

I believe the Christian Church is going farther and farther away from living the Word of God.

Because the Church is not living the Word of God Satan is getting an open playing field.

Because it is Satan’s will the is gaining full control of the World, it will not be long before the Anti-Christ will be taking power………………

It wouldn't surprise me if that 2 billion number is overstated fifty-fold of actual born again people. "Christian" has become a social description misrepresenting the true remnant. Jesus said the church will be like a tree where the birds (devils) will come into and find a place to rest.

I believe there are still a few prophecies that need to be fulfilled before the anti-christ makes an appearence.

The love of many has grown colder - or is getting colder.

Too many holed up in the Churches waiting to "fly away" methinks.

naturally there are a few select ones blazing the trail - but they are few and far between.

I think the prosperity doctrine knocked a lot for six. When they realised it was a bankrupt and selfish theology, they got kinda disillusioned.

It's the fault of the other 2/3?

Don't you think the figure 2 billion Christians is just a teeny weeny bit of an exaggeration? Nearly 2 billion so?

Billy Graham said:

The farther we get from God, the more the world spirals out of control.

My heart aches for America and its deceived people. The wonderful news is that our Lord is a God of mercy, and He responds to repentance. In Jonah’s day, Nineveh was the lone world superpower—wealthy, unconcerned, and self-centered. When the Prophet Jonah finally traveled to Nineveh and proclaimed God’s warning, people heard and repented.

We have many that say they are Christian, but do not know the Word or obey the Word...

Repentance is what we need and true love, His love <3

To answer this , one can look at what went on in Europe from 500 AD until 1900 AD when christianity was supposedly ruling the area . Europe should have been Paradise on Earth with christian leadership and "churches" in charge . Far from it .

To respond to this, one could say that in these times Europe was dominated by Catholic leadership, not christian.

That time frame also includes Lutheran and other "protestant" groups that didn't really help in the areas mentioned . The United States was mainly Anglican ( English church ) at its founding which was , for all intents and purposes , Catholic .

Religious control was the norm - as well as leadership that could not be removed easily - as in many of today's groups .
