I don't personally think it's suspect, to be honest. While the health impacts of COVID was minimal (in comparison), the economic impacts of the COVID lockdowns affect everyone, globally, with the exception of the extremely wealthy few.

We will see an increase in world food shortages and famine in many third world nations, some say of biblical proportions, late this year if the lockdowns continue.

Almost all charities are suffering because sans income and/or threats to steady income people stop giving to charitable organizations.

More people even in first world nations are going hungry and facing poverty and bankruptcy.

The list can go on, but if I was extremely wealthy I'd be making funds available for the poor too right now. Our hearts can't help but break for those hardest hit by the economic destruction caused by the lockdowns of western nations as well as the damage caused by supply chain disruptions...

That the extremely wealthy are disconnected from reality shows in the fact they'd rather vaccinate against COVID and watch them starve instead.

While that may be generally true, it is not universally true --- there are many wealthy people who have used their wealth to support the poor and marginalized. I'll provide just one example that you might not be familiar with. The Aga Khan is one of the wealthiest people on earth. Over the years he has built staffed and completely funded three (that I know of) first class general hospitals in third world countries and a complete university as well. A few years ago he was in Canada and I heard him speak at the graduation exercises of a major university. He had just signed an agreement with the university to utilize their experience and expertise to establish a new School of Nursing at his university. The last I heard is that was funding and establishing education for girls and women in Afghanistan. A very remarkable rich man. He actually has quite a bit of company.

Therefore, our commission is not to sit around trying to identify who might be or become "the" anti-Christ, but rather, our Lord's command is to endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission until which time as He returns...

We shouldn't sit around playing the name the anti-Christ game in other words. We deal as Christians with the current situation we find ourselves in, and be what our Lord and Savior called us to be, no more, no less.

Anyway, when "the" anti-Christ does show up, who will listen to any Christian declaring the evil before them, with such a long string of anti-Christ theorists who were wrong? Stop playing such a game, we just end up like the boy who cried wolf in the end, with no one willing to hear. Our Lord does not command us to do this... but only, to declare His person and work to the lost...

A Christian community with a sizeable non-Christian membership, in what I believe is not part of the Christian only forum sections.. (not positive on the later)

I have something against global government, on many levels, and I don't like trade deals that have the potential to put us into EU style situations. But, it's far better to say I don't believe in it and list myriad legitimate secular reasons why (as plenty exist) than to attempt to foretell future evils we can't know based on Biblical prophesy that may not fit the situation at hand. That leaves our witnesses in Christ in Christ, and sans errors which diminishes our witness.

All the points I've made, have been based on your words you've typed (aka Rockefellers are satanic, some say the NWO is anti-Christ and one world government is anti-Christ agenda) and not your video.. because I don't usually watch posted media (with few exceptions)

Okay, the original point was on the video, everything I said was just to further my opinion of it.

Also I am new here, I did not entirely realize that this was a non-Christian section, in my experience conspiracy and Christianity go together well, not always, but after all it led me towards Christ ect.

Talking about the video would keep this thread on topic, I would love to cherry pick what I reply to but it is not in my nature to undermine someone's original point. However being someone who also lives in quite an ashiest area, I agree secular reasons are best for non Christian audiences, again, I did not realize that the freedom opinion here was segregated, please direct me to the "Christian conspiracy" forum if there is one, or please watch the video and give your thoughts and keep things relevant. These are just my opinions after all, and I welcome yours regardless, but to re iterate, this thread is about the video, not my secondary comments.

I watched the video, and it seems to be an advertisement concerning a new normal. Where banks and banking are concerned, this is true...

People no longer cash paychecks, and many don't even write checks. Smaller bank branches are going the way of the dinosaur as more and more people adopt a card based, electronic deposit style of existence.

Banks do have to adapt to these changes, as society changes. Many think we are heading into a 4th industrial revolution as a result of so many technological advancements so quickly.

Did COVID lockdowns speed these processes up and make companies like banks have to adapt more quickly, yes but they've been seeing the writing on the wall for several years now.. as evidenced by the ad.

Is a cashless society frightening, in some respects yes and in others no... it is more convenient after all, which is why so many are easily transitioning to it.

I received my stimulus check in my available funds in a matter of two or three days of the stimulus bill being passed in congress, because my bank was ready and able to handle the influx quickly and the FED'S were standing ready on their end.. that's convenient.

So, that banks were advertising they are ready for a new way of banking 8 years ago doesn't exactly shock me, as by then more and more had already begun a more cashless society, more direct deposits, and less physical interaction with banks themselves.

Should we be more wary as Christians, yes, I think we should be on guard. But not every single change is going to be nefarious either. Many changes just have to do with the technological advancements we all are living with.

It's a good conversation...

But your right, it's becoming or is now, corona rhetoric. Maybe that's just because of the virus response (aka the lockdowns) more people relied upon technology to get them through. That's how most went to church, visited with their parents and family, did their banking and shopping. If not for technology these lockdowns couldn't have worked...

And it showed corporations the flaws in their ability to adapt with technology, and overcome those flaws.

I've learned a lot here, or have been forced to learn a lot as the case may be. It challenges your beliefs at times, helps you examine them in light of Scripture, and forces you to learn how best to articulate what it is you believe....this later is a big one..

I've found it helpful. And it can be fun, and encouraging.
