We all experience difficulties, problems, and trials throughout life.
Usually, we also look for ways to solve those problems.
All of the various solutions basically ask one of these two questions:
"What can I do to solve this?" Or, "What can God do to solve this?"

In other words, we either try to solve the problem on our own, or we let God solve it.
Obviously, it is much wiser to give your problems to God.

Therefore, in the midst of your problem,
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
Trust God to solve your problems.
Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal (Isaiah 26:4).

During your trials you should frequently quote Psalm 91:2:
I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

Furthermore, when you're truly trusting in God, there is nothing to worry about. Jesus said,
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me" (John 14:1).

Make this your cry:
"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God" (Psalm 20:7).

Trust the Lord God Almighty in every area of your life, even during problems,
because every problem gives you an opportunity to trust God.

:amen: don't forget about Psalm 46! [BIBLE]God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. [/BIBLE]

Yes, it is difficult to give thanks in all things, yet the Bible tells us to do exactly this. Trials will come and go, but God remains faithful, the alpha and omega. He creatively solves our problems even before we are aware of them. Faith means holding onto things eternal and trusting in One we have not seen. I am so thankful that my Savior constantly proves Himself to be my best friend!

With all the mess I've been through in the last two years, I've really learned to trust God during the hard times. He has not failed me, and He has always provided for me and my family. My faith in Him is stronger than ever.

Don't fear the test.

Nice--thanks for sharing that! I might add that the three most common hindrances in this area are: 1) trying to solve our own problems (whether from lack of faith or self-will or whatever), 2) expecting God to solve our problems our way, and 3) leaving it all to Him to solve even when His Spirit has given us a part we must play in solving those problems.

Blessings,
costlygrace

Some years ago when I was a Christian therapist I facilitated a group for Christian women in crisis. The members of the group were those who were going though various things: e.g. divorce, death of a spouse or loved one, separation, serious illness, recovery from accidents, loss of a job, etc.

We found that we all had very much in common as to what we were experiencing then despite there being a difference in the type of crisis we were going through. There were some very powerful emotions emerging and our group was a good place to vent them and receive support since we were not judgmental of each other and what we were going through in any way.

We shared the scriptures but established a rule from the beginning not to try to solve each other's problems by quoting scriptures to straighten each other out. We promised to keep what we heard there confidential. This worked very well as we listened to each one share without interruptiing or commenting and at the close of each session took turns reading a particular verse or chapter from the scriptures out loud. That was many years ago and our group met only 12 weeks for once a week. Some of us remain in touch. All have gone on with their lives and all have continued their walk with God. Two have gone home to be with the Lord now and one became a missionary. My husband and I moved out of state two years later after we both retired. We were from different churches and most were then very active in ministry. We numbered usually between 8-10 women each session. I was a counselor myself but also going through the crisis of recovering from cancer. I am still here and well. God is good to have seen our need and to have used us all to comfort and support and pray for one another in Agape love. Glory be to Him! :amen:
