Give yourself some time to heal-if you had broken your leg, you would take certain actions in order to help yourself heal wouldn't you?
The same is true with emotional hurts. Start with some affirmations-may sound silly but get you some and say em (OUT LOUD) till you believe em.
I am somebody. I am worthwhile. He's going to miss me one day, but by then I will be well enough to just say "I bet you do" and smile.
Out of sight-out of mind- CRY if you have to the whole time you are doing it, but get rid of everything that reminds you of him that you can. (That may include taking yourself to a new resturant or two if there were "special" places you used to go).
Get a pet-(something to take care of will help you replace that nurturing need &
give you something to be responsible for) It can be a fish (if you're really down & can't give alot right now).
You are getting better already (means you are closer to a break through than you realize) because you came here asking for help, whether you know it or not. To come to a christian board implies a belief in a God of somekind-so use your belief to know
that God is still in Control & your life ain't over, it's just at a new place. Good things are to come!
