If not, I highly recommend it. Have the Roots of Western Civilization collection (it can be purchased separately as "Rome if You Want To" + "Greece and The Word" + Turkish Delight" + "East Meets West") Takes one through Rome, Greece, Jerusalem, the spreading of the Gospel. My favorite episodes are the first (where the Arch of Titus gives proof that Jerusalem was ransacked and what was taken) and the one about the underground city in Cappadocia (you think you have it bad, the early Catholics-Christians had to dig eight story caves to escape Roman persecution and even then, they made the entrances so narrow that a Roman with a shield couldn't enter the rooms!)
For awhile now they are covering the American History series. I bet Warrior Angel would *love* this weekend's viewing. It's about William Penn (did you know that after the King of England gave Penn the title to the land that was to be Pennsylvania, he entered into a peace treaty with the Native Americans and essentially purchased the land, that he already had title to, from them--I didn't) and Philadelphia. (This will probably be my favorite episode. I *love* the prayer that chaplain of the First Continental Congress gave. He prayed not only for the Founders, and the nation, but for those unborn--that's you and me too since we *all* need prayers, and it shows real religious freedom or religious tolerance we should be enjoying.) Not sure, but this might be able to be purchased in the "Penn, The Freedom Trail: Philadelphia", but am not sure. The one I saw didn't include the Polish patriot Thaddus Koscuizko (I bet Brooklyn Knight would be interested though if it did and the one for purchase does mention him.)
