  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So Jesus *ever lives* to make intercession. Many believe that there is no stopping sin from existing in man. They want to keep Jesus on the cross forever or they want Jesus before the throne of God forever asking God to forgive because of His atoning blood.

Could you please show me where intercession is forever?

Heb 7:25 "seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." Chapter Nine of Hebrews talks of the day of atonement "into the second went the hight priest once every year, ..." verse 7. "signifying that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest.." verse 8 "that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience" verse 9. This day of atonement is for the perfecting of the conscience. "Christ became an High Priest*** of good things to come..." verse 11.

"offering himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve a living God?" verse 14 Notice the word purge, if that is anything like what is it on the computer, comparing it to man's mind, that bad virus program (can't stop sinning) is purged, no longer exists.

"nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the High Priest entereth in the holy place every year with blood of others....but now in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself." vers 25-26 Now in the end of the world "unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." verse 28. "For the law having a shadow of good things to come," Heb 10:1 has ceremonial prophetic meaning. "because that the worshippers once purged should have no more conscience of sins." Heb 10:2

Do you believe that what Jesus is going to do for all eternity is "make intercession for them"? (us)? Do you think that God cannot find a way to end sin? Do you think that God will be dealing with sin for all eternity?

The Day of Atonement is the final purge of sin from heaven, and there will be no more dealing with sin in heaven. Rev 16:17 "...there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying "It is done." Jesus will no longer make intercession, dealing with sin is over, it is done. Remember during the plague, it says over and over again, and they repented not...to give him glory...or...of their deeds. Rev 16:9 and 11. There is no more need to intercede, those that would repent have and those that would not repent did not even when the plaques fell.

So what is God’s plan for His people.....

..."to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy " Jude 24

Perfecting Christ in us "...perfecting holiness in the fear of God." 2 Cor 7:1

"...that he might fill all things......for the perfecting of the saints..." Eph 4:10-12

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith towards God" Heb 6:1

This statement is where I am heading with all that I have said before. "let us go on unto perfection."

I believe the Day of Atonement is the experience that is needed for the perfection of the saints. During this fall feast, where will be a time when type meets reality, the people of God will finally have the victory over sin once and for all.

1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all

Psalm 98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Remember the wages of sin is death.

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

We finally reach the point where we are incorruptible.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. 5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

The Day of Atonement is the coming to His temple and the Feast of Tabernacles is the second coming.

The SEVENTH aspect of the Levitical convocations is the feast of TABERNACLES. Tabernacles represents the fullness of the indwelling of God in us. It is God's purpose to DWELL (Tabernacle) AMONG THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH. God is BUILDING HIS CHURCH, THE BODY OF CHRIST, FOR THAT VERY REASON - that He might have a dwelling place in which and through which He can abide among the nations of the earth.

Then the church which our Lord at His coming is to receive to Himself will be a "glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing." Ephesians 5:27. Then she will look "forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners." Song of Solomon 6:10.

If you are not ready to meet the Almighty, Awesome, Holy God and you approach the Lord or the Lord approaches you, the sin within you will burn within you because holiness and sin can not co-exist in the same space. You will start to tremble and fear will start to overwhelm you. Does God want this for His people? No, that is why He is trying to prepare you for his Almightiness, Power and Glory. Poor Isaiah found himself in the presence of God, he said woe is me for I am unclean. So even if you have just gone through the book of your life with Yeshua, and have reached to point of having the peace that passes all understanding, you will still be unprepared for the reality of the Almighty Pure Glory of God. Yet if we are to live with him forever, do you not think that now is the time to prepare? Study the word of God looking for God, what is he really like, what does God think, what did those that met with God think, how did they describe their experience. Get a feel for what it would be like to have the real experience. God will guide you through his word, He will show you were you are lacking, and He will open your eyes so that you may see your true self. He will prepare you if you but let Him who has begun a good work finish it. Pray that you may have the courage it takes to go all the way with Yeshua.

"Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up, and sealed till the time of the end." Daniel 12:9 I believe we are reaching the time of the end or last days of earth's history.
