CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ween is great. I can see how some people could be a little turned off by them, but they are very talented musicians and great guys. They live about 10 minutes from me so I've seen them play live quite a few times. They are a lot of fun.
My uncle has been a close friend of their since high school (he took the photo on the inside of their album, The Mollusk. I know Aaron pretty well, but I've only met the other guys a few times at various get-togethers and such. Nice guys though.

You could pretty much start anywhere. Their albums are sort of all over the place, but basically all of it is good. I'd say either start with their debut God Ween Satan: the Oneness (unless you are turned off by a lot of language and topics that some may deem inappropriate; the songs are sort of childish and immature, but are fun at the same time) or, my current favorite, The Mollusk (which is probably the best record they've put out). Everything else is good, but I think those are probably their best.
