I have tried to shake this but I can not seem to.
3And God said, “Let there be light,”a and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light “day,” and the darkness He called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.b
So day begins at the horizon when the Sun begins to "rise".
- As the Earth rotates, different parts of the sky become visible or hidden by the horizon, creating the beautiful transitions from night to day and vice versa.
