If I started to evangelize my classmates or professors, I would get into a LOT of trouble. Firstly, it is forbidden (laicity) and I could have problems with the direction for that, and the professors would certainly not stand it.
Secondly, my mates are very brilliant people, sometimes very sure of themselves and they will also not stand someone telling them "Believe in Christ, brother! You are in the wrong!" In fact, they would simply laugh for many hours, call me crazy and make even more fun about all the believers on earth. To me, it is really NOT the good way. It is like imposing faith to people, when you simply cannot.
But yes, living by example, as seashale76 said! And giving opinions about things from a christian point of view, without saying "hey, you know God said..." : simply assuming your convictions. That is all and already good. Now, if someone ask me about my faith, or wants to know more, then I shall gladly answer and discuss it, as long as the dialogue is open and not trying to explain why I am supposed to be wrong. Though, never and never I will try to evangelize my classmates in this way, and to go against the law, and nor will do the other believers of the class.
