Eternal purpose for wisdom?

Do you think there is an eternal purpose for wisdom?
Is it suffice for one to just have faith or must we search for deeper reason to support it?

Thats something that has been debated throughout history, and to be honest I just think it depends on the person that you are.

kierkegaard argued that the only real faith is faith that cannot be supported. Hick, on the other hand, argued that anything which cannot be proved or disproved is a blick.

An example from my own life would be me and my mother - I am somebody who enjoys apologetics, and likes to back my faith up logically. My mother, however, is much more spiritual in the sense that she will view the world with blind faith.
