No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

  • The rule regarding AI content has been updated. The rule now rules as follows:

    Be sure to credit AI when copying and pasting AI sources. Link to the site of the AI search, just like linking to an article.

I received the same email telling me that someone tried to log in my accounts (it was ME!!) and was given an IP address that wasNOT mine.

I had to create another account just to get in here to post 'something'
I emailed pauler but have not heard back.
Who knows if I will be able to get back in here on this account also.

Before we got locked out, each time hubby or I logged on, it would log in on the other person's account!
Frustration is growing... seems we are regressing NOT progressing here

In the meantime our established accounts are in LIMBO and we are stuck with new accounts that have NO posting priviledges in ASA, the chatbox, access to blessings etc :o

FYI - a bunch of staff are having the same problem. This looks like it is sitewide, but i agree - it needs to be fixed asap, cause its getting slightly ridiculous.
I'll try keep you guys updated if i learn anything.

When I log in 1/2 the time, it says my password is incorrect, but logs me in anyway(???) The other 1/2 of the time it says my password is wrong, won't let me log in N OR send me a new password to my e-mail...but then if I click on a subforum, it automatically logs me in!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This MIGHT be related to another bug ticket someone posted about not being able to get in unless they use a proxy. Someone with more computer savvy should look into how these two issues might be related.

Others have been saying just clear your cookies and cache and try again, seems to work for them. Every time after logging out this problem arises, and the cookies have to be cleaned out again before logging back in.

And that was the first login attempt. Cleared cookies and got in.

CF's cookies are corrupted.

I've been clearing cookies all day. I have 6 accounts. When I stop clearing and simply log out then in with a new, it only works half the time.

I'm not complaining though, when I couldn't get in at all was worse.

This thread was in April, and it is still happening. Furthermore, I seem to be blocked in posting. Either I'm in trouble, for doing nothing, since I've been away for months. I am not aware of being in trouble here. So now it won't accept a new password, as it doesn't match my current password? What happened to my old password, and why can't I change passwords? Can somebody please make some sense out of this for me?
