Appearance: Black eyes, deep red skin. Wears a hooded cloak with holes in the hood for his horns, and medium armor underneath (chain mail, fairly small chest plate, steel bracers, leather gauntlets and boots). His front horn is broken off about halfway down. Also has a sword and sheath on his left hip, and a quiver with arrows on the right hip. Usually carries his bow on his back.
Equipment: Cloak and armor, short bow, quiver and arrows, and a sword with a focusing crystal at then end of the hilt. The crystal has the ability to teleport the user a short distance.
Bio: Born in the Crags. His father and mother were both refuges from a tribe that was attacked. His mother died shortly after his birth, and his father went into Azurkaan and never returned. Lived on his own for most of his life. His first encounter with the watchers were when one of them helped him during a rock slide. His leg was caught under a rock and the watcher helped Erir get the rock off then disappeared. He had several more encounters with this watcher until he was 26. He found the watcher being attacked by several members of his own race, and helped the watched fight them off. Erir began traveling with the watcher after that, learning everything the watcher knew. Then one day, Erir woke up and the watcher was gone, but he left his sword, his bow and arrow, and his cloak and armor, as well as a note saying that the watcher was dying, and was leaving the Crags to die in peace. The note also told Erir that the number of watchers was dwindling, and that Erir was to take his equipment, and take the watchers place. Erir did as the note said, and has been living as a watcher since.
*The Tashaer are a humanoid race. Their eyes are very catlike in shape, common eye colors include yellow, red, black, blue, green. Rather then noses they have 2 small, slanted nostrils on their face angled down. Their mouths have two rows (top and bottom) of fairly sharp teeth. They have no hair but have two horns one on the forehead the other near the back of the head, both going straight up, each only about 6 inches in length (the back one usually tends to be longer). They have two pointed ears on the side of their head. Their skin ranges from a bright red (almost pink) to a dark gray like granite. Average height is slightly taller then humans (if a human male averages 6’ Tashaer male averages 6’ 5”). They often live in the Crags, sometimes in the jungles bellow the mountains, some even make their home in Azurkaan. Usually live in tribes, sometimes in family groups. They strongly dislike bright lights, so much that they prefer not to travel during the day. Average life span is about 10 years more then humans.
