I really expected to find this thread waiting for me. Actually, I expected it to have been created a couple days ago. Still...

What did people notice about episode 4.1? Thoughts? Theories?

'Who are the Oceanic Six?' From the end of the last season, we can conclude that two of them are Jack and Kate; this episode says that one of the remaining four is Hurley. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that one of the remaining three is Sun; for her its either get off the island or die.

Also...sworn to secrecy by whom? How is this enforced? Is Hanso corp involved somehow? From the question put forth by the black stranger who visited Hurley (who is this guy, anyhow?), it is apparent that some people, at least, have grave doubts that the 'Oceanic Six' were the only suviviors.

Speaking of which...what happened to the other lostaways? Were all or most of them killed by the 'freighter people'?

Observation: for a woman who'd taken a tree branch through the gut mere days earlier and a knife to the back; Naomi was awful dang tough - laying a false trail through the woods, climbing a tree, and successfully ambushing Kate, a dang tough woman in her own right.

There's other stuff - the splitting up of the lostaways (again); the appearance of Charlie as Hurley's new 'spirit guide, ect, but I'll leave that for other folk.

I think Claire is one of the six. Otherwise, Charlie's death is just stupid. She has to get on that helicopter to finish out Desmond's vision.

And I saw that this episode's flashforwards are earlier than last episode's flashforwards, thus putting a hold on the identity of the person in the casket. Random lightbulb! Could it be Hurley's casket?

Naomi may be part of Dharma trying to reclaim the island. She had a picture of Desmond, who was working one of the Dharma hatches. Maybe she's supposed to be his replacement? LOL Maybe she got that picture off his myspace? LOL again. Ok, it doesn't fit but that was fun...

Finally had a good cry over Charlie...sorry, I know all of you were crying last season, but this one with Hurley and Claire pushed me over the edge.

Snooch, I agree with ya about good ole Hurley!

So...it's interesting that they have already let us know that, although the group split up for some length of time, it was not only those who went with Jack who got off the island. (They used to take weeks to show us something like that )

Flash fowards, flash backs, flash backs within flash forwards. Wild stuff.

Anyone else know it was Jack watching that t.v. chase scene and anyone else know it was Hurley driving that car?

Why did the guy at the end who paraglided in look so familiar?

As always lots and lots of unanswered Lost questions.

Notice that when in the gym Hurley told Jack:

"i should have went with you instead of Locke"

Hurley also told Jack they should go back and at that point Jack didn't think so but later when with kate Jack tells Kate they should go back! hmmmm???? what changed Jack's mind?
