Found this in an old shoebox in the attic. This actually happened. From when I was a teenager (16 to 17 year range). I hope someone can get a good laugh out of this.
You asked us if games with demons or magic are evil. Some games are evil, and promote actions and attitudes that a born-again Christian should not condone. Specifically regarding the game Dungeons and Dragons, (name withheld) has said the following:
The game conjures up in the imagination of its players so-called magic spells, which are described in Deuteronomy 18:9-12:
Regarding the other issues in your letter, it is difficult to have a satisfying dealogue relating to many questions by means of a letter. We sense you should concentrate on your relationship with Christ instead of seeking answers to various topics. We believe that a gospel-preaching pastor in your area would be better able to adequately answer your questions by personal counsel.

Dear Mr (Kol),
Thank you for your recent letter. We trust we can be of further help to you.
You asked us if games with demons or magic are evil. Some games are evil, and promote actions and attitudes that a born-again Christian should not condone. Specifically regarding the game Dungeons and Dragons, (name withheld) has said the following:
"Dungeons and Dragons, instead of a game, is a teaching on demonology, witchcraft, voodoo, murder, rape, blasphemy, suicide, assassination, insanity, sex perversion...and many more teachings, brought to you in living color direct from the pit of hell!!!"
"When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist, or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you."
There are several courses of action we encourage you to diligently pursue in order to establish and strengthen your relationship with Christ. First, let the Holy Spirit have complete control of your life. Second, begin to grow spiritually. Become actively involved in a doctinally sound church that is alive with the love and power of the Holy Spirit. If small group Bible studies are available, join one of them. Practice daily Scripture meditation, study, and prayer. And third, cultivate the habit of praising God (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Meditate on the Psalms each day, and learn to praise God in all circumstances.
We pray that the Lord will enrich your life, filling you with all joy and peace in believing.
Sincerely,
(Name mercifully withheld)
