Hi,

Don't these verses prove that Gentiles are included into Israel therefore they have to obey the same commandments Israel were given in the Torah? -

Ephesians 2:12 says, ''remember that you [Gentiles] were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world''.

Romans 11:24 says, ''For if you [Gentiles] were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these [unbelieving Israelites], the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.''

Thanks

And ...how does one do that ? There are 613 Mitzvot. Most can not be obeyed, the reason? Jesus Christ of Nazareth has fulfilled them. Here they are:
Blessings!

Additionally, Jesus Christ of Nazareth added to the Torah, He went beyond what was written in the law.

  1. Not to add to the commandments of the Torah, whether in the Written Law or in its interpretation received by tradition (Deut. 13:1)
You can find it in Matthew 5: 21-48

Blessings.

Hi,
You said Jesus has fulfilled them.
Finish the sentence, "Jesus has fulfilled the law so that…".
...our sins are forgiven by His sacrifice and not the sacrifice of a lamb.

Included in Israel, yes. Have to observe Torah and all the mitzvot given to Israel under the Old Covenant, no.

There's a New Covenant.

Indeed, in Ephesians 2:12-19, Gentiles were at one time separate from Christ alienated from Israel and the covenants of promise, having hope and without God in the world, which is all in accordance with Gentiles at one time no being doers of the Torah, but through faith in Christ all of that is no longer true in that Gentiles are no longer strangers or aliens, but are now fellow citizens of Israel along with the saints in the household of God, which is all in accordance with Gentiles becoming doers of the Torah.

Why does that seem important to anyone ?
We all have possibly 4 or 5 times as many traffic laws , and a dozen times as many other local laws - well over a thousand laws we can be fined, jailed, or even executed for breaking!

Why are you comparing God's law given to ancient Israel with the laws of today? Let's stick to the subject at hand, shall we? Keeping the Mosacic Law. Not a possibility. James said, you break just one you break them all. Jesus Christ of Nazareth said, if you even think about breaking a law, you have broken it. Obviously, there is a better way. Live by His Spirit not the law.

James 2:10 states: "For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all."

Matthew 5:27-28: "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."

Comparing because you posted as if it is impossible to keep , to do, what Jesus Himself Says ....
yet with an overwhelmingly larger number of "laws" concerning traffic and local and federal regulations, ......... well, are you claiming excemption from the traffic, local and state laws ?
See - there is a major dis-connect from reality. Whether it is because Jesus Word is not understood, or not accepted ......

He says meditate daily, frequently, steadily, on His Word, His Precepts, in order to DO THEM.
and it is so for everyone young and old, little child to grownup ....
Do what Jesus Says - Keep Jesus' Word, Always.

It is impossible to keep. The Temple does not exist. Thanks for sharing!

Impossible? Today, Jesus , if He stepped foot on earth to live on earth , what would He Do ?

Something impossible for Jesus ? Something impossible for His sheep to DO. ?

See? Follow Jesus. He is the Perfect Shepherd. His sheep know His Voice and (He Says) His sheep follow Him. That is not impossible, no, not at all, or , if it was impossible, would Jesus say it ?
