Ephesians 1:3-4

What does this mean?

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

God the Father has said Good things about us because we are in Christ

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:



What does this mean?

God the Father chose us before the world was formed and He deterimed that we would be holy and without blame IN CHRIST.

where is Christ right now?
at the right hand of the Father

notice it does not say here on earth .... this would be future 1 john 3:2 states when this really happens

In a simplistic way all God the Father sees is Christ. We are seen in Him. Mark in your bible in Chapter one of Eph. all the "in Him" "in Christ" "through Christ"

Every time you read the NT circle or underline them. The Plan of God was salvation for the lost. Within the plan there is freedom to accept Christ or continue in un-belief. See everything in the Plan and it will make perfect sense. God elects us in the plan and the plan is that all those who willfully and freely respond to God's grace are saved, elect, called etc.
